Early in my journey into a return to wholeness I discovered a little book called Crafted Prayer, by Graham Cooke. This little book really changed my life and opened a door to mind, body and spirit healing through the power of prayer. I highly recommend it! The link below will take you to Amazon to purchase it should you want it for yourself.
I had received so many good and kind words of encouragement from friends, family and Facebook friends that I collected them. As I read them and prayed into their fulfillment for my health this simple book by Graham Cooke helped me to write out the prayer of all the PROMISES I had received from God myself, along with the ones from others… a Crafted Prayer!
It became my daily prayer and declaration of God’s promises for my life during the season of healing from the toxic poisoning. I found strength, hope and love through this crafted prayer.
Below is my Crafter Prayer, followed by the verses of promise I used to write it. I hope it blesses you and inspires you to take the promises you have received from God and Craft your own Prayer.
Father, thank You for healing me. As Your daughter in Christ, I declare Your work on earth as it is in heaven for You are for me and nothing can stand against me. You told me to REST so I come to You seeking rest in my body, soul and spirit.
I claim Your glory in my physical body, Your Temple. I rejoice in You during these trials of testing my faith which results in endurance growing. I believe You when You said that it will result in my being perfect, complete and lacking in nothing for that is Your heart for me.
I claim Your healing of all of my bodily systems and the removal of all symptoms, for by Your stripes I am healed. I praise You for the healing You have already completed.
Thank You, for You said that no poisonous thing will harm me and no weapon formed against me will prosper. My heritage is that You will vindicate me!
I claim Your word that this will come to pass and that after suffering for a little while that You, my God of all grace and mercy, who called me to Your eternal glory, will YOURSELF perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish me.
My Beloved Father, You are renewing my mind. I am being conformed to the mind of Christ with new neuropathways and the DNA of Jesus. I set my mind on things above and choose to dwell on things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, of excellence and worthy of praise.
I glorify You, praise You, exalt You. You are GOD, CREATOR, ALL MIGHTY ONE. I bow before You in humble recognition of the gift of Your steadfast love, life, soundness of mind, healing of soul and flesh. I believe that I do look upon Your goodness in the land of the living. I praise You with all my being and sing before Your presence in heaven with joyful song.
Lord, You are in my midst, You save me, You rejoice over me with gladness, You quiet me with Your love, and You exalt over me with singing! I am so very blessed!! I claim Your promise that You will bless my bread and water and take sickness away from the midst of me BECAUSE You and sickness together in my midst don’t go together!! Sickness, mental confusion, allergies, all of it must GO because You, my God, are in my midst!!
May You be praised and glorified in all ways through my life as I live it out on this earth. May I live out of my spirit man and rule as You created me to do.
I craft this prayer to Your glory from the words that You have given me and pray in the powerful, precious name of Jesus, my Savior.
Consider it all joy, my brethren, when You encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of Your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that You may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
And these signs will accompany those who believe; in my name they will cast out demons’ they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover. So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
And ye shall serve the LORD Your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living!
“No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgement you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their vindication is from Me,” declares the Lord.
Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
“And it came to pass…” says it 85 times in the Bible. Todd heard God say this when I asked him if He had any encouraging verses for me.
1 Peter 1:10
After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
1 Corinthians 2:12-13
Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.
The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you by His love, He will exalt over you with loud singing.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own for you were bought with a price. So, glorify God in your body.
But He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with His wounds we are healed.
